Froggy Birthday: Amelia turns five!

As most of you know know, Amelia is OBSESSED with frogs, so it wasn't a surprise when she asked for a "froggy" themed birthday party.

Everything HAD to be green of course. Claire thoroughly enjoyed helping with the streamers.

"Hoppy Birthday"

Her dad caught a bucket full of frogs the night before so that Amelia and her guests had plenty of frogs to admire.

Amelia's friends made their own frog party hats which were encrusted with sparkles, glitter and sequins.

Our neighbor brought these awesome frog cupcakes!

Amelia's guests took home little pots with soil and sunflower seeds.

Enjoying "frog eggs", otherwise known as passion fruit seeds.

I went with an ice cream cake again this year as cake decorating is not my thing. For lunch we enjoyed Amelia's favorite foods "ants on a log" (celery with peanut better and raisins), potato salad, chicken skewers, chips, hummus, pita bread, and something called worms and dirt.

Aww! That’s a cute little frog! Very interesting theme! I am so happy I came across this post before my daughter’s birthday. I can actually take some fine ideas from here and decorate one of the NYC venues like this for her birthday celebration. It’s just fantastic!
